Every published Jolt is processed to be exactly 1.000 second long. By posting, you accept the format. That's the whole product.
You must be at least 13 years old (or older where your local law requires) to use Jolts.
You own what you create. By posting, you grant Jolts a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process (including the trim to exactly one second), display, and distribute your content so the service can work. You can delete your content or your entire account at any time from Settings, which ends this license for that content except where copies are required for legal compliance.
Only post what you have the rights to. A one-second clip of someone else's broadcast, film, or song is still someone else's work. We respond to copyright reports and repeat infringement ends accounts.
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts that break these rules. Enforcement decisions can be appealed from the app, and reporters are notified of outcomes.
Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. Usernames are unique, may be reclaimed after account deletion, and impersonation handles are removed. Verification badges are granted only by Jolts and indicate identity, not endorsement.
Jolts is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it fast and available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, change, or discontinue features. Where permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us (currently: nothing) — this doesn't limit liability that can't legally be limited.
